Hi Beelink Support,
I have a MINI S13 Pro (SN available upon request) currently running BIOS version MINISF005. I purchased this PC as a Plex Media Server expecting to use Intel Quick Sync for hardware transcoding, but the GPU’s video encode functionality is not working.
The GPU is detected as “Intel® Graphics” with device ID 8086:46D4 and I have the latest Intel driver (32.0.101.7084) installed. Task Manager shows Video Decode, Video Processing, and 3D graphs — but Video Encode is completely missing. When I try to use Quick Sync encoding in HandBrake, it falls back to 100% CPU usage with no GPU activity.
I’ve already tried changing BIOS settings including enabling Intel Graphics Pei Display Peim, setting Primary Display to IGFX, Internal Graphics to Enabled, and DVMT Pre-Allocated to 128M. None of these changes resolved the issue.
I believe updating the BIOS will fix this, as the early MINISF005 version may not be properly initializing the GPU media engine. I see multiple BIOS versions available, which is the proper one for this PC? Thank you!
