Serial Number = Default String

Hi, We have 3 devices connected to our infrastructure by our partner company. All devices are detected as :
Serial: Default string
Manufacturer:AZW
Model: SEi
RAM: 16160 MB
Chassis Type: Desktop
Processor Information
Number of Logical Processors: 8
CPU Manufacturer: GenuineIntel
CPU Name: 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-11320H @ 3.20GHz
CPU Speed: 3190 Mhz
CPU Processors: 1
CPU Cores: 4

by our MDM and it appears that Serial Number set to “Default String” is also present in BIOS. It’s same for all devices. Have you got any tool that we can use to update Serial Number to value present on device sticker ?

Also afflicted by this as a side effect of applying official firmware patch. Would be grateful of an approved way to set the value correctly.

Please send us a picture of SN number and BIOS version .

So we would be able to know whether it is latest BIOS and send you files accordingly.

Here`s how to check your BIOS version:

Prese : Win + R ,
Type : msinfo32
Send us the screen.
