SER 9 sleepmode (hybernate) solution (for me)

Issue: Screen turns on and fan starts spinning in sleepmode.

Solution: Quick pres powerbutton and it shuts completely down with RAM data saved on SSD for quick reboot (6 seconds).
Before I found this out I also turned off ‘Fast start-up’ in the BOIS, so that might be needed as well.

No BIOS update, no Windows reinstall, no tinkering with sleep settings ect.

Besides your mouse and keyboard, do you have any other USB devices on your computer?

Please turn off the PC , unplug the power supply, and press the CMOS button (if no CMOS button, please put the pin in the CMOS pinhole and press it ) for about 10 seconds , restart the PC after ten minutes. I didn’t make this post because I have a problem with my mini PC.

When I just got it I noticed it would automatically wake up a few minutes after putting it in sleep mode.
By using the hardware button to put the PC in sleepmode instead of using the sleep button on the Windows startmenu I get the desired behavior from the PC, it goes to sleep and doesn’t wake up by its self.

I read multiple posts from users wondering why their PCs would wake up/ fans starting to spin without any user input, so I though this post might be useful for some.
