will you be shipping a bios update or working with windows to deliver secure boot certification updates for the Ser8 8745hs model? thanks in advance for any answers.

Could you please send us a picture of SN code(two lines) at the bottom of machine ?

Please repeatedly press delete key as soon as you turn on the PC, go to BIOS. Please send us a picture of the Main page, we will check if you need to update the BIOS.

Currently, our R&D personnel have provided a BIOS for solving the problem of secure boot to address the issue.

So I haven’t received a PM back, however I checked the ser8 driver/bios repo in the support section and noticed the repo had been updated in March. I flashed the most recently updated file, using the same instructions as the old one. I DID have to disable secure boot to flash it, but once flashed I re enabled secure boot, rebooted the machine 2 times, and the machine now reports that it has the latest secure boot certifications.

TLDR:

Download the latest bios from repo. Be sure it matches your model.
Disable Secure boot.
Flash updated bios via standard instructions supplied inside the same repo for older bios versions. It is a Docx format instructional.
Re-enable secure boot, boot into windows and run windows updates.
Reboot once or twice.
Verify that secure boot is correctly updated with the most recent certifications by navigating to Windows security dashboard -> system security -> read text below “secure boot”
It should say it has all the latest certifications and is enabled. If it says anything else it is not updated properly or you are missing windows updates.

I saw there was an update (v035) and I updated it, but I just noticed that there are 2 of them:
A few days ago I did HPT.8xxx.SER8.V035.P8C0M0C15.14.Link.20250626.bin and now HPT.8xxx.SER8.V035.P8C0M0C15.15.BL.20260224.bin

After updating to V035 15.15 I saw a Win update “Secure Boot Allowed Signature Database (DB) Update” and now it’s good
“Secure Boot is on and all required certificate updates have been applied. No further certificate changes are needed.”

Nhawk This is what worked for me as well. Glad you were able to resolve this issue, and thank you for the specific explanation. Hopefully others will see this thread and be able to resolve the expired certificates as well. Have a great year, and safe computing!
