Since the v35 bios update, CPU GHz is reduced: it now averages to 4.2GHz under load rather than 4.9Ghz, with temps reaching, BUT NOT EXCEEDING 90 °C.
It appears that the new BIOS is throttling when reaching 90 °C, no matter what. Have you noticed the same?
I tried both 54w and 65w, changing the power option settings to ‘on’, ‘aggressive’, power plan ‘balanced’ set to high performance.
This is on the ser8 with 8745hs.
