I have a Beelink Mini S with an Intel N5095 processor and Ubuntu LTS 24.04 installed.
Every time I try to reboot the system, after the power off the machine seems to turn on correctly (blue led in the front is on), but the monitor gives me a “no signal”. If I long press the power button (about 5s), the machine seems to restart as the LED light turns off and on again but the monitor still has no signal. I hear the fans spinning pretty intensely when this happens.
Even rebooting the system via linux command gives me the same result. The LED light turns back on but there is no signal to the monitor.
The only way to make it work is to unplug the power cable, wait for few minutes and then plug the power cable back on. In this case the machine boots up properly and the monitor finally gets the signal.
I was also running the machine 24/7 (pretty much idle, was using it control a smart lamp occasionally) and it often “mysteriously” stopped working after a while and had to reboot it again by unplugging the power like I said above.
Does not seem to be connected with thermal issues since this happen even when the machine runs mildly warm.
What could be the problem? BIOS?
