I bought a GT King Pro from a market site.
There was installed SlimboxTV ATV 54.15 on it.
I noticed ethernet via RJ45 was not working
Wifi was OK.
I also did not like the powermenu of SlimboxTV so I decided to install the original stock firmware and hoped that ethernet would work again.
I installed the 921PO build which I got from this forum.
My SN: 922HHQAG70184
Succefull installed but still NO working ethernet.
As the box is very close to the hotspot I could live with that and decide to use wifi.
It seemed that the wi-fi was working well but after some reboots the wi-fi icon right below the homepage remained gray.
The box is then completely uncontrollable, sometimes black screen.
You can back to the homepage but nothing works anymore.
Even power off does not work, infinite spinning.
After disconnect the mainpower I can boot again and everything looks fine again (blue wifi icon)
If it works it stays working perfectly.
This issue appears very random and unpredictable. I tried 5 reboots in one day and no problem and then suddenly it happens again.
Every time I can solve it by disconnecting the mainpower.
I tried to solve it with a RTL8153 usb networkadapter, but this is not recognized by the box.
I also tested it with CoreELEC and then no wifi problems, so wifi chip seems OK.
I would be very thankfull if you could give a solution for this very annoying issue.
Could reinstall 921PO help? Or maybe try 917PO?
