I’m sorry to report that the new replacement unit I just received is not working.
Symptoms:
The unit hangs constantly, first the screen freezes, then the mouse cursor, followed by a black screen for several minutes with the following error: dcp_watchdog_violation_0×133. There are also several system errors in event viewer.
Tests:
I already tried reinstalling Windows three times with the same results.
The problem also appears when using a completely different ssd and reinstalling Windows.
Memory is tested and it should be fine.
I read that in another thread that there might be an issue with the amd drivers and the ser8. Could this be the problem, or is it a defective unit?
All my drivers and Windows update are up to date.
