Hi everyone,
I’m experiencing what appears to be a very similar issue to the SER8 chipset/graphics problems previously discussed on this forum.
My system:
Beelink SER8
AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS
Radeon 780M
BIOS: HPT.8xxx.SER8.V035.P8C0M0C15.14.Link
AMD GPIO Controller: 2.2.0.121
Windows 11 24H2
What happened:
I was working normally with a 3-monitor setup:
Huawei MateView via USB-C
LG Ultragear via HDMI
CRUA monitor via DisplayPort
Suddenly all displays went black. I forced the PC to shut down.
After rebooting:
DisplayPort works.
HDMI no longer outputs video.
USB-C video no longer works.
Windows is using Microsoft Basic Display Driver.
In Device Manager:
AMD Radeon 780M was automatically disabled (Code 22).
After enabling it again, it now shows:
Code 31 – Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device.
Reliability Monitor shows multiple hardware errors:
LiveKernelEvent 117
LiveKernelEvent 193
LiveKernelEvent 1a8
The AMD display driver installed is:
Version 32.0.21030.2001
INF: u0420529.inf (oem9.inf)
A month ago, I was experiencing freezes because of the AMD driver so I reinstalled Windows, which temporarily solved the problem. However, the BIOS remained on .14 and GPIO remained 2.2.0.121.
Has anyone experienced exactly this issue?
Should I:
Reinstall only the official Beelink graphics driver?
Install the complete official Driver Package?
Update BIOS from .14 to .16 (or newer)?
Update the AMD GPIO driver to 2.2.0.136?
Any advice from Beelink support or users who have solved this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
