Unable to discover 2nd monitor via DisplayPort

I have a SER5 Max AMD Ryzen 7 773HS unit with Windows 11 Pro.

I have two 24″ HDMI monitors.

The PC will not recognize a 2nd monitor via the DisplayPort using a DisplayPort->HDMI cable. If I connect the 2nd monitor to the PC HDMI port, it works. Thinking perhaps the DisplayPort->HDMI cable is defective, I bought a new cable. Unfortunately, no success, so the cable is not the cause of the issue.

I searched the forum and found no posts for this issue. Has anybody else seen this and had any success resolving it?

Note: Prior to my current SER5 Max, I had another unit SER5 Max. Tech support advised updating the BIOS. I did and this bricked it. Fortunately, they replaced it. I will not make the same mistake.

Could you please send us a picture of SN code(two lines) at the bottom of machine ?

You can try to clear CMOS : Please turn off the PC , unplug the power supply and HDMI cable , and press the CMOS pinhole for about 10 seconds. Ten minutes later, plug the power supply and HDMI cable, turn on the PC again.

If the DP port is 1.4 Version, please buy an active DP1.4 to HDMI 2.1 cable , the active cable is more compatible , here is the reference ：https://a.co/d/dQPFCna

I purchased a UGREEN DP1.4 to HDMI 2.1 cable and it solved the problem.
