SER5-Pro-E Overheating

I’m having a heating issue with this machine. The fan spins up for a second or two when you first boot it then stops.
I’ve updated to the latest BIOS. That didn’t fix it.

I’ve taken it apart and inspected the fan spin for 1-2 seconds then stop.
Unplugged the fan and plugged it back in.
Same result. Spins 1-2 seconds after hitting power button then stops.
Never comes back on.
Machines gets to hot to even touch comfortable.

Creeps up to about 81c at idle.

Any insight or help would be nice.

Here are some solutions:

①Check the cooling system: Ensure that the fans inside the PC are functioning properly. If the fan is not spinning , it need to be replaced.

②Adjust power settings: Adjust the power settings on your PC to optimize performance and reduce heat generation. Lowering the maximum processor state or using power-saving modes can help.

Go to control panel —power option—change to High performance— change plan setting—advanced setting —processor power management— change both 100% to 99% , click save.

③ Could you please take a picture of the BIOS main screen of your machine for us to see?

Hey buddy! I think it’s a fan or fan-control issue because the fan stops after some seconds and the machine reaches 81°C at idle, so check the fan connection, run hardware diagnostics, and inspect the heatsink and thermal paste. If nothing works out, then it may need replacement, similar to checking ventilation in a metal roofing system.
