Re install Windows on Beelink EQR5 Mini PC,

Hello,

I am looking to purchase a Beelink EQR5 Mini PC, AMD Ryzen 5 5500U and when I get this I would like to wipe the SSD Completely and re-install Windows 11

I assume I can just follow the steps below:-=

Create Windows 11 USB using Microsoft Media Creation Tool
Select your ISO → write to USB
Boot from USB
Plug USB into the EQR5
Power on → press F7
Choose your USB device from the boot menu
Windows Setup
Delete all partitions (wipe the SSD)
Select each partition → Delete
Install Windows
Select the unallocated space
Windows will create new partitions and begin installation

Finish setup

Might need to install some drivers from the links provided in this fofum.

Will I need a Windows activation code or should the PC automatically be recognized as activated by Windows?

Any other issues I need to be aware of?

Thank you for your letter and interest in our machine.

You can reinstall Windows 11 on the Microsoft website.

If a product key is required for activation after reinstalling the system, you can send us the machine’s serial number (SN), and we will send you the product key.

After receiving the SN, we can also send you the driver files.
