Hello,
I am looking for some technical information regarding the motherboard of my Beelink GK55.
The issue is with the SATA2 connector used for the 2.5-inch SATA drive cable. The small locking latch on the motherboard FFC/FPC connector is broken, so the SATA flat cable can no longer be held firmly in place.
The SSD itself and the SATA cable appear to be fine. The problem seems to be specifically the motherboard connector/latch.
I have already tried some temporary solutions to keep the flat cable pressed in position, but they have not been reliable. The connection eventually becomes unstable or the drive is disconnected.
I would therefore like to repair it properly by replacing the connector.
Could Beelink please provide any of the following information?
Motherboard schematic for the GK55;
Boardview or PCB documentation;
Exact part number/manufacturer of the SATA2 FFC/FPC connector;
Connector specifications (number of pins, pitch, contact orientation, height, etc.);
Recommended compatible replacement part.
My motherboard appears to be AZW GK55-C V5.2, and the connector is marked SATA2 on the PCB.
From visual inspection, it appears to be a horizontal/right-angle FFC/FPC ZIF connector, rather than a vertical connector.
I have found some 12-pin / 0.5 mm FFC/FPC connectors that look similar, but I do not want to replace the original component without confirming the correct footprint, contact orientation and pin arrangement.
If the complete schematic cannot be shared, even just the manufacturer and part number of the SATA2 connector would be extremely helpful.
I can also provide detailed photographs of the motherboard, SATA2 connector and SATA flat cable if necessary.
Thank you for any assistance.
Best regards
