Mix SSD sizes in Ser9 AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370

A couple of simple questions.
Can I install a 2TB second SSD with the preinstalled 1TB SSD or must the SSDs sizes be identical?
What is the exact SSD specs?

Hello there,

The machine of SER9 PRO 370 has two SSD card slots. The corresponding SSD specification is M.2 2280 PCle4.0X4. Each SSD card slot can support the installation of a maximum of 4TB SSD.

You can add another 2TB SSD to the machine in an additional SSD slot, on top of the already pre-installed 1TB SSD. The capacities of the two SSDs in the machine can be different.

Many thanks or the quick response.
The current ssd uses NVMe protcol. Will be better to buy a ssd that uses NVMe protocol rather than SATA?

Using SSDs that support the NVMe protocol in the SER9 is better than using SATA interface SSDs.
