SER5 Max 7735U Low perf GPU

Hello, I purchased an SER5 Max with the Ryzen 7735U and 680M GPU, but the GPU performance is very poor—far from the “smooth AAA gaming at medium settings” advertised on your website. In the 3DMark Time Spy benchmark, the GPU score is 520 points, and power draw never exceeds 9W. Is there a BIOS setting I need to change, or an update I should install?

Hello there,

Sorry for the trouble.

Could you please send us a picture of SN code(two lines) at the bottom of machine ?

Please repeatedly press delete key as soon as you turn on the PC, go to BIOS. Please send us a picture of the Main page, we will check if you need to update the BIOS.

Please uninstall the graphic driver in the device manager and install the new one.

Thank you, i install the new driver and flash the bios. The GPU power draw to 22w , good, but the score is same (528) with 3 or 4 fps during bench.

I took a screenshot from HWInfo; apparently, there’s a power and current bottleneck. Also, only one compute GPU is running, and it’s at 51%.

Okay, so you’re selling an APU with a Radeon 680M, but you’re throttling it to the performance level of a 610M. But in your listing, you show a 3DMark score of 1965. That’s not very professional.

If you need to play games on the machine and want it to perform better, it is recommended that you consider other machine models or series.
