SER7 WLAN Issues

Hello,

I own a SER7
BIOS information
SER7P5C8V07
6.7.0.0.5
AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS

SN: Y78404GF20050

It shows full reception, but it still fails spontaneously and for no apparent reason.

I tried to set it up differently, but without success.
A notebook or cell phone nearby and the same 5g network works perfectly, so it must be connected to the SER7 device

Is there some kind of antenna that can be attached?
I would have to run a network cable across several rooms, so this is not a solution

or are there certain network settings that improve the connection?

Hello there,
Here are some potential solutions:
1.Please make sure your WIFI signal is full.

Make sure that the distance between the PC and the router is less than 6 meters.
Please uninstall the wifi driver and then resatart the PC to see if it works.
Please right click the windows —setting -troubleshooting —other toubleshooters— internet—run , let the PC diagnose the problem and solve it automatically.
5.Please update the driver. Here is the driver source : https://url.bee-link.cn/wPts
Go to device manager , click the property of the Intel WiFi driver —advanced–choose property 802 ax, value also choose 802 ax.

8.Please right click the windows–computer management–double click Services–①Wlan auto config–start the service, ②WWAN Auto config —start the service.

9.Please go to the windows terminal (admin) > type in : sfc /scannow > then wait until finished.

ser7 is 7 meters away from wlan router, thats in way near enough for all speks if i use google search

and it consistently shows full reception, but I can hardly get any data over the network
I’m also testing whether this would just be a display error, if i stand bevor the device it loses a line, so no

what else is possible? plan to remove the module and reinstall it?

Glad to help, Sorry for the trouble when using.

You can also try and remove the wifi module and reinstall it .

And please try an external wifi receiver .
see if that works better.

Hello,

What seemed to help was removing the base plate. I went from around 1-10mbit to 240mbit and was able to use the WiFi for 3 hours, which wasnt possible worked so far.
Now the question is, can operating the SER7 without a base plate lead to problems? e.g. air supply or dirt?
