SER 7 Performance issue

Hello,
I have just received my new Mini PC ser7 AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS. The Bios is set to “balanced” in “Advanced / OEM features Management”. Windows is in “performance mode” and after a few tests, it appears that the CPU performance shows some anomalies: the single-core Geekbench 6 score is 2608 (seems normal) but the multi-core score is only 5217, far from the theoretical performance. During the test, CoreTemp recorded a maximum CPU temperature of 73°C and maximum power consumption of 45W. Cinebench 2024 reports 106 for single-core and 375 for multi-core performance. The temperature did not exceed 74°C in this test either. CoreTemp also reports frequencies of 5115 Mhz and a load close to 100%, while Windows reports only almost 85% CPU load and around 3.8 Ghz at the same time. In any case, this is not due to excessive room temperature (20°C) or other software consuming large amounts of resources simultaneously.

This is a standard SER7 mini PC bought with the 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD configuration. OCCT reports errors during stress test, and weird (very lows) frequency clocks for many cores as seen in the screen captures joined. Bios is v37, default optimized parameters.

Check power management settings:
In BIOS and Windows power options, review settings to ensure they are suitable for high-performance needs, such as selecting “High Performance” mode rather than “Balanced” or “Power Saver”.

Check cooling:
Despite temperatures being within normal range, ensure the cooling system is functioning properly and that there are no obstructions blocking ventilation ports.
