I have a problem with your GTI14 Ultra 7 155H computer. When I connected it to your docking station, the CPU performance dropped by almost half. It seems like the turbo boost isn’t working, even though the frequencies show it’s holding at 4.6 GHz for the performance cores. I tested the processor both with and without the graphics card, and without the graphics card, the processor is indeed twice as powerful. I have installed the drivers, but I haven’t updated the BIOS yet. I’d like to hear your advice on what I should do before updating it. In the BIOS, I set the processor to 65W, but this only works when the graphics card is not connected to the mini PC. Below are screenshots showing the performance difference. What EGPU are you using ?

1.Check for Background Processes and Software Conflicts
Open the Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc in Windows) and look at the “Processes” tab. Check if there are any resource - intensive background processes running that could be using up CPU cycles and affecting performance. Some software may have background services that interact with the hardware in a way that causes performance degradation.
Temporarily disable any antivirus or security software (if possible) to see if they are causing any conflicts. Some security software can have features like real - time scanning that might impact system performance.

Check Graphics Card Drivers and Settings
Even though you mentioned that you installed the drivers, it’s worth double - checking. Go to the manufacturer’s website of the graphics card and make sure you have the latest and correct drivers installed. Sometimes, incorrect or outdated drivers can cause issues with CPU - GPU communication and performance.
Open the graphics card control panel (e.g., NVIDIA Control Panel or AMD Radeon Settings). Look for any settings related to power management or performance. There might be a setting that is causing the CPU to throttle to balance power consumption with the graphics card. For example, in the NVIDIA Control Panel, you can check the “3D Settings” and make sure that the power management mode is set to “Prefer Maximum Performance” (if available).
Please repeatedly press delete key as soon as you turn on the PC, go to BIOS. Please send us a picture of Main page, we will check if you need to update the BIOS.

In the third screenshot, you can see that I’m using an RTX 4090. I would have immediately noticed if Windows was taxing the CPU if that were the case. The BIOS version on the mini PC is not the latest, as you can see in the screenshot below. It seems I found a way to make the CPU with a discrete graphics card work at full power. I noticed that when the discrete graphics card is connected, the integrated GPU in the processor gets disabled and does not appear in the Task Manager. I looked for a BIOS setting that seemed to control whether to enable or disable the integrated GPU and set it to be enabled. After that, the CPU started working at full power, but then another issue arose: when there are two GPUs in the system, there are stutters in games on the discrete GPU. I resolved the stuttering issue by disabling the integrated GPU through Device Manager, and the CPU still continued to run at full power. I don’t know if this is an Intel problem or yours, but for the price of this PC, there seems to be a lot of headaches and bugs. I spent an entire day trying to solve this issue! Maybe I’m not the only one with this problem, and my experience might help someone. I have one more question: I saw on Intel’s website that this CPU can consume up to 115W. What BIOS settings do I need to change to allow my CPU to consume more than 65W?" Image description

Deniel Thanks for your sharing about the performance.
Regarding to the TDP, though 185H can support up to 115W, but our motherboard only support 65W.
