When connecting the eGPU in PC with a 1 meter and 0.3 meter cable, nothing happens.

Setup:
PC: beelink ser6 6800 (bios 1.13, ec 1.15, win 11, USB 4) 📛
eGPU: AORUS RTX 3080 GAMING BOX
Test PC: Lenovo L14 (tb4) - working ✅

A more detailed description of how the video card behaves when connected.
When connected correctly (lenovo), it turns on the pump and starts humming to the maximum.
When I connect it to my pc (beelink) it turns the pump on and off every few seconds. It’s like it starts working and then changes its mind.

Hello there,

Could you please send us a picture of SN code at the bottom of machine and a picture of purchase invoice?

It is recommended that you remove the chipset driver of the machine itself before installing the driver file provided by us.
Here is the driver file: https://url.bee-link.cn/jpUx
The tutorial: https://url.bee-link.cn/wEmk

Could you please take a picture of the BIOS main screen of your machine for us to see?

Then we will see if your problem can be solved by updating BIOS.

Have a nice day!

I press cmos button and its same as before

i update all drivers, but issue still remains.

    Let’s, uh, recap for today.

The wire and eGPU are good - working on lenovo.

The problem with detecting the eGPU on beelink remains:
Does not show up in the device manager and is constantly in a connection loop ( hums every couple of seconds)

Windows drivers are uninstalled and updated. Exactly the same behavior.

Tried to boot from linux. Exactly the same behavior.

At the moment I have a suspicion that the USB port is broken and it can not provide the capabilities of USB 4.

I’m going to try to make a flash drive with clean vin and boot from it, but my hopes are very low.

may I know does your egpu have its own power supply? and how about you try to turn on the pc firstly and then connect the egpu, thanks

support7 Yes it have it’s own power supply. It’s work perfectly with tb4 lenovo thinkpad l14, but does not work with usb 4 in beelink.
