I’ve got my SER6 Max mini pc and a Macbook Pro, trying to setup a shared monitor with ASUS ProArt Display 32” (PA329CV). I’ve tried this two ways:
1) MBR connect to monitor via USB-C & SER6 connect to monitor via HDMI.
2) Both computers connect to USB-C monitor splitter, splitter connect to monitor.
In both configurations, the monitor with detect the SER6 initially. But if I switch to MBP, then back to SER6 the monitor no longer finds the source. In setup 1 above if I physically unplug and replug the HDMI cable it shows up. Meanwhile there is no problem on the Mac side, switch away and switch back works seemlessly.
So it seems to be an issue with either the graphics card (Radeon 680M) in the SER6, graphics driver, or maybe a Windows problem. Any thoughts about how to troubleshoot or fix this?
