Hello Everyone,

I recently updated the BIOS on my SER5 MAX-E-161TBEJ0W64PRO-DP/XA Mini PC and am now experiencing a black screen issue. For the update, I used the file 5800H605_LK_20240906_2024-09-14_9-26-52.zip downloaded from Beelink’s BIOS page and followed the provided instructions carefully.

Steps I’ve Taken to Resolve the Issue:

1.	Cleared CMOS:
•	Pressed the CLR CMOS button on the front panel for 20 seconds after unplugging all cables.
•	Waited 10 minutes before reconnecting everything and powering on.
2.	Removed the BIOS Battery:
•	Unplugged the BIOS battery for 30 minutes.
•	During and after the battery removal, I pressed the CLR CMOS button for about 20 seconds before reconnecting and powering on.

Unfortunately, neither of these steps resolved the issue, and the screen remains blank.

Does anyone have suggestions on additional steps I can take to recover the system?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best regards,
Thomas

    HI, Thomas

May i know when you were updating the BIOS .
did it successfully update the BIOS ? no interruption ?

    hi!

yes it did without interruption. only difference was, the update process started automatically when it booted to the EFI prompt and the screen looked a little different than in the BIOS update manual.

    Hello there,
you can try to reset the PC,
Pease try to do the reset the PC.

Start your PC, just as Windows attempts to load (spinning dots), press and hold Power Button for 5 - 10 seconds to perform a Hard Shut Down

    Do this twice

On the third start Windows will boot into the Recovery Environment and from there you can access System Repair, Safe Mode, Command Prompt . . . etc.

Please try each option one at a time, then see of Windows will boot . . .

Go to Troubleshoot – Advanced Option —Uninstall updates–uninstall latest quality update–restart the PC

    Hello there,

It is suggested that you can contact our after-sales mailbox – support-pc@bee-link.com

Then consider sending the machine back to China for repair, from the current situation, your machine brush the wrong BIOS file, resulting in the machine does not boot.

    Here are some solutions:
1.Please take out the RAM ,please clean the contacts of the RAM with a rubber.
    Here is the tutorial :https://mega.nz/file/XqZX0TIR#_DtO2oa4aRP4bWtvxgKLj4QGhBpQ959cg5U3Yw4u1Cc
2.Please change another HDMI cable or power supply.

3.There might be something wrong with the hard ware components. Please take out the SSD and RAM and then put them back , make sure they are installed properly.
Also please clean the gold finger with a rubber. Here is the tutorial:https://mega.nz/file/7nwDmCaL#UyzSmVkqJG8HW9dhjHhLkkzdP9gt2Br3xyCG1SCdbrA
If it still doesn’t work, please try to replace SSD and RAM or put the SSD or RAM to other devices to test if they work.

4.And pls try to take out one ram out, and then just leave one in the box to see if that machine could work, and the same way to test the other one , to see if that is ram issue.(if your ram is more than 8gb)

    Have a nice day!
