Specifically, the device suffers from significant performance degradation due to power limitations when the GPU is in use. This problem manifests as the CPU clock being restricted to 400MHz, which drastically impacts the overall performance of the system.
When the GPU is active, power restrictions severely limit the capabilities of both the GPU and CPU, leading to a substantial drop in performance. Benchmark tests have further highlighted this issue. While CPU-centric benchmarks like Cinebench produce normal scores, GPU-focused benchmarks such as 3DMark Time Spy reveal that the EQR6 performs at less than half the level of competing devices with similar specifications.
It appears that the root of this issue lies in a lack of thorough GPU performance testing during the development phase. This oversight has likely resulted in the GPU-related performance problems going unnoticed.
