I have a Beelink EQR6 with Ubuntu 24.10 installed. When controlling it remotely via Ubuntu’s built in remote control feature (over RDP, I think), it sometimes shuts down unexpectedly. While this is inconvenient, my primary concern is that it does not automatically restart afterward. As a result, I am unable to access several services running on the Beelink, such as Nextcloud and some other personal web services, until I return home and manually restart the device.
I followed this tutorial to make the Beelink restart after power failure but this doesn’t seem to apply for unexpected shutdowns caused by system failures.
Is there a solution or workaround to ensure that my Beelink automatically restarts after such unexpected shutdowns? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
