janoost Out of the box, clean windows 11 install, SER9 is not going to sleep after the set amount of minutes I configured in “put computer to sleep” in powerplan. If I manually click “sleep” it does go to sleep. What can I do to fix this?
janoost my goal is that the ser9 goes into standby/sleep after 20 minutes idle time - I assume therefore I need to do something else ?
support7 You can set a 20 minutes hibernation timeout in System Settings - Power - Screen, sleep, and hibernation timeout.
Twinklekapoor It appears your drivers or power settings may have an issue. Attempt to find any updated drivers, especially power management and chipset, and also ensure “Allow hybrid sleep” is disabled within power plan options. If it still doesn’t work, then the issue can be solved using the Power Troubleshooter.
janoost Interestingly enough the power troubleshooter is not available. Apart from that it never goes to sleep. For now I found a working work-around: a freeware program called “shutter lite” - it works on actual user input (mouse / keyboard) to decide to trigger sleep or not - so won’t be stopped by a driver or service or so,
