SER8 some USB-port problems

I have the SER8 8745HS. When I connect an external SSD-drive (Crucial 4TB on SATA-USB adapter) to the front USB-port it hangs and becomes unresponsive (Taskmanager shows 100% disk usage, disk cannot be ejected).

When I connect the drive to the back USB 3.2-port it works perfectly fine but then my keyboard (connected to a dongle in the USB-port below) stops working.

I’m assuming this is a motherboard issue with no easy fix, so just reporting.

Please uncheck the save energy in the device manager—universal serial bus controller–USB hub—properties–power management—uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off the device to save power”
