System configuration consists of an Beelink EQi13 Pro 13500H mini PC running Ubuntu, interfacing with a TerraMaster D5 Hybrid DAS via the system’s sole USB-C port. Under sustained I/O load, the DAS intermittently drops connection and, in some cases, causes system-level stalls or temporary lockups.
Given the behavior profile, the failure appears consistent with a potential issue at the USB host controller layer—either firmware instability on the Intel controller or irregularities in USB-C power negotiation under load conditions.
Troubleshooting steps already performed include:
Verifying use of the manufacturer-supplied USB-C ↔ USB-C cable from TerraMaster
Disabling all OS-level and firmware-level power management / energy-saving features
Confirming the issue persists specifically during higher throughput scenarios
I’ve reviewed the publicly available support resources but did not locate any BIOS or firmware packages explicitly released for the EQi13 platform.
Could support provide access to the latest BIOS revision (including non-public releases, if applicable) for validation testing? Current BIOS information is included in the attached screenshot for reference.
