I have a GT-7 and when I send data over the NICs out-going, I can send data up to about 2.5gbps as expected. However when I receive data from a source system at 2.5gbps it is limited to about 1gbps. Anyone else experienced this issue? Below is the ntttcp.exe commands I used to test sending and receiving.
Where IP is address of server (receiver), and -s Send whereas -r Receive…
Following my GT-7 never sends or generates greater than 2.4gbps…
Client…
ntttcp -r -m 4,,192.168.2.38 -l 64K -a 2 -t 120
Server…
ntttcp -s -m 4,,192.168.2.38 -l 64K -a 2 -t 120
Following my GT-7 never receives or accepts greater than 1gbps…
Client…
ntttcp -s -m 4,,192.168.2.38 -l 64K -a 2 -t 120
Server…
ntttcp -r -m 4,,192.168.2.38 -l 64K -a 2 -t 120
Oh, and I am running Windows 11 Pro on both systems, and both are fully patched and have the latest drivers. One system is the Beelink mini noted above, and the other system is an older Dell PC that has add a 2.5gbps NIC added.
Just seems odd that when the GT-7 mini sends… both systems work at 2.5gbps scale, but when the GT-7 receives it never accepts above 1gbps.
