Is there anyway to update the docking stations power supply? 600W is not enough for a Nvidia 5070, they recommend 750 minimum and 850 just-in-case.

Hi there, no need to update the power supply.
Because the ex docking station and the PC use independent power supply.
The EX docking station only supply the power to the EX card, it doesn’t need to offer the power to the PC. So 600W is ok.
support1 apologies for not being clear. While I get that it is an independent power supply, according to the documentation for the nvidia 50x series, 600W is not sufficient for the card and recommendation is 850W. To ensure sufficient power for the card, is it possible for a user to remove the existing power supply and replace it with a sufficiently rated power supply?
Datamancer NVIDIA’s recommended PSU wattage (e.g., 750W–850W) typically refers to a full desktop system, accounting for the GPU, CPU, motherboard, and other components. The docking station’s 600W PSU is dedicated solely to the GPU, it may already suffice if the GPU’s actual power draw (e.g., 300–400W TDP) is within the 600W limit
support1 thank you
