Jensen_H Hello. Could you answer a few questions about the power supplies you use? In your mini PC, you use unmarked power supplies, what kind of power supplies are they? Who is their OEM manufacturer? In Exdock, it is not even known what the power supply looks like inside. Not a single review shows it. Who is its OEM manufacturer? 80 Plus certificate? ATX 3.0? ATX 3.1? (Nvidia recommends for rtx50) Cybenetics certificate? Without all this information, we can safely assume that these are shit tier power supplies (Huntkey, Segotep, Kuanten etc.) And the 1-year warranty does not inspire optimism.
Jensen_H It would be better to have a Minisforum docking station with its own power supply + Oculink of course
Jensen_H Minisforum also has a shitty power supply (Huntkey), but at least the markings are not erased and you can use your own power supply for the video card
Jensen_H When will serious brands (Dell, Hp, Asus, Msi, Gigabyte etc.) pay attention to Oculink in the mini PC and laptop segment?
Jensen_H proprietary interfaces are evil (in this case, working only with devices from one manufacturer) as is the refusal to use a common standard (oculink)
Jensen_H Yes, your own power supply + Oculink is inconvenient and more expensive, but more honest and much safer for gpu Or why not just hide how good the power supply is inside?
