I have a 6600H. Here are some notes about device “hangs” that are not really a hardware problem:
For some weeks, my device hung, needing a power cycle, when using Google Chrome. It did not leave a kernel dump. I am running Fedora Linux 39, in Wayland mode. The hangs became less frequent with each kernel update, but still occurred once or twice per day. Eventually I switched to Microsoft Edge, and the problems disappeared. The hangs did not happen with Chrome running on Windows 11, but the graphics driver would occasionally reset. Diagnostic runs with Memtest86+ revealed no problems.
Since the switch to Edge the problems have disappeared. I did not attempt to switch to Firefox or any other browser. So before blaming hardware, be sure to debug software problems thoroughly.
