I just bought a Mini S13 to use to host a small media server for my home.
I was in the process of upgrading Windows 11 from Home to Pro, using a fresh installation, when my Windows 11 installation was interrupted. Now, every attempt to reinstall Windows fails, with a BSOD. Stop codes I have had include “IRQL not less or equal,” “page fault in a non paged area,” and “critical process died.”
I have tried changing the C drive out for a fresh NVMe, I have tried a different windows installation thumb drive, I have tried moving the C drive to the other M.2 slot. I have tried every boot option, I have tried launching the windows install media from the UEFI shell. No luck anywhere. I get BSOD within seconds of initiating any Windows process, it seems.
So my hunch is that the RAM is bad, or that I have been very unlucky with both thumbdrives I have used being corrupted. But I figured I’d ask here before taking a more drastic step of buying more RAM or trying to return the Beelink. I’m also afraid that my tinkering might compromise my ability to RMA the machine.
Thank you for your help!
