Hello,
I have an older ser 5 5500u where the motherboard failed and after extensive troubleshooting I couldn’t get it to come back to life. So, I purchased a new ser 5 5500u and just swapped out the nvme, ram, and ssd I had installed in the older unit into the new one. That all worked fine except now windows is showing it’s inactive and I can’t get it to activate. I saw from previous posters that if they shared pictures of their SN on the bottom you would send information needed to activate.
