Right, I’ll try and keep this simple.
My brother-in-law had a Beelink mini PC…unfortunately he passed away in the Spring of last year.
His widow (my sister) never ever used this device, but now needs to to replace her aging Windows 10 desktop.
She doesn’t know exactly when this mini PC was purchased (can’t find any paperwork for it) and doesn’t know if it’s W10 (32-bit or 64-bit) or W11.
She’s passed it to me (her brother) to try and get it working and up to the latest version of W11 - that is, if it’s W10 and can be upgraded to W11 then do so and if it’s already a W11 device, bring it up to date.
She is not technical and I am what you might call “semi-technical” (IT background all my working life - though mainly software - and have come across many and varied problems and solutions in that time)
When I start the machine, I do get the Beelink “splash” screen, though pressing <Del> or <F7> does nothing. After a while, the “blue screen of doom” displays with a QR code and mentions an UNMOUNTABLE BOOT VOLUME, then the screen goes blank, then the start up process happens again, but with the same results and this continues until I remove the power lead.
I have looked at some suggestions online but not sure I fully understand what I’ve read.
