IMO, the Beelink ME Mini’s strong sides are its size and power consumption. Sure, if you have an unused PC with a full-size mobo and plenty of PCIe lanes, you can build a much more powerful NAS/VM/HomeLab server. But the total price will be much higher (motherboard, PSU, fans, extenders, RAM (which now costs like gold), GPU). Not everyone needs this.
So I don’t think your setup and the ME Mini are even in the same category.
I’m not advocating the Beelink, given its poor unit quality. But it’s still cheap, small, and silent - when it works as expected :D
