Good afternoon, I’m having a problem with my mini PC. I normally use it for everyday internet browsing and research, but I’ve been trying to use it for two days now, and it turns out that after pressing the power button, it takes a while to display a video image. When it does display an image, it only lasts 10 to 15 seconds, then goes completely blank, and the keyboard turns off. The “Num Lock” LED turns off internally, meaning the LED stays lit and locked. The only way to turn it off is to unplug it.
These are the steps I’ve taken:
-Try a different power adapter.
-Try a different monitor.
-Try a different HDMI cable.
-Reset CMOS.
-Clean the RAM and its slot.
-I’ve tried with only one RAM in both slots.
-I removed the internal battery for about 10 minutes.
And yet the problem persists…
I’d like to point out that once it shuts down, it no longer displays a video image, unless I perform a CMOS reset and wait 10 minutes. There, the image appears, but for a short period of time, perhaps between 10 and 15 seconds.
I also quickly entered the BIOS at that point, and while in the BIOS, it also shuts down in the same amount of time. I’d like to know what else I can try, or if it’s simply a common issue with this miniPC model and there’s nothing I can do?
I’ve attached a BIOS image and model.
