SER9 255 powered via USB-c

Hi, On the market for this mini pc (SER9 255). It will replace my laptop, which is connected to a monitor via TB4/usb-C. It gets its power (96W max) as well as USB data while sending video data, all in one cable. Will the SER9 have no trouble with this setup?
Also, can I order 64gb RAM instead of 32?

Regarding the USB-C interface of the machine you inquired about, if the PD power supply you are using exceeds 100W and your monitor is powered separately, then the USB4.0 interface of the SER9 can meet the requirements you inquired about.

HI, I installed a SER9 with R7 H755 and it runs fine with a single cable from the monitor without having to tweak the bios. The SSD runs at PCIe gen 3 though. I replaced the SSD with a Samsung 980 pro and benchmarks are not right; by half…
The AMD software doesn’t report a firmware or driver update, nor does the samsung software. What do I miss?

Otherwise,this is a fine computer, was up and running under 10 seconds of unboxing, which is a new experience :)

typo: I meant 255, not 755. This is the SER9 non pro. I can’t figure out what is wrong with the Windows configuration, running at Gen3 on a factory install. Windows seems to have snuck in a driver update for AMD, labeled “Advanced Micro Devices, Inc - System - 1.0.19.0” without any mean to rool back or even identify the device in cause.

What I find puzzling is that a SSD slot 2 displays Gen4×4 in Samsung software and operates faster than the 980 in slot 1, despite having no dram at all.

Maybe I should try swapping M.2 slots?

It appears, the pc is fine and the SSD is defective. I reinstalled the original SSD: back to normal. Sorry about that.
