HI,
After my first issues with the Windows installation on first boot, I had to reinstall Windows from a clean ISO.
I found the driverfile for the Mini S13, so I was able to install these that belong to the hardware.
But my NIC, what supposedly should be a 1GbE, is stuck at network speeds of 100Mbit/10Mb a second.
After some fiddling with the advanced NIC settings (auto negotiate/1000Mbps-Full Duplex) it didn’t have any effect.
I tried the same cable from a PC that has 1GbE and network downloads around 100-120Mb/s, so it’s not the cable.
I also tried a bootable Linux version, and in Linux the NIC is also limited 10 100Mbps. So……..
There’s nothing in the current BIOS (v3) that is linked to the NIC (pun intended). I cannot find any solutions on the forum here as well.
- Is there a newer BIOS that might solve this?
- Is there something else I can try to see if I can convince the NIC to work at 1000Mbps?
It’s driving me crazy, as100Mbps is too slow for the Jellyfin server it is running.
