Hi there, I’m experiencing the same issue on my SER9 AMD Ryzen “AI” HX 370 w/ Radeon 890M under BIOS version SER9T204. I am willing to try a new BIOS to fix the issue. Is a new BIOS available for my particular unit?

Symptoms summary
When booted into Linux, pressing the power button briefly (< 0.5 s) has no effect whatsoever. I would expect it to shut the machine down in a default configuration.
When booted into Linux, issuing systemctl suspend does not suspend the device. Instead, the fan starts running at 100% permanently, the suspend attempt fails, and ethernet[1] is disconnected until the next reboot. The system becomes unworkable as a network device, but can still be accessed from the console and shut down manually with shutdown.
[1]: and WiFi too apparently, but I’m not testing that yet. The log lines show that something bad is happening to both r8169 and iwlwifi involving power states at suspend time.
