Hello, I have an S12 N95 device with a 500GB M.2 SATA drive that was pre-installed.
Now I want to add a 1TB M.2 NVMe to it.
My question is: if I replace the existing M.2 SATA with the new M.2 NVMe, and then install the original M.2 SATA (that came with the mini PC) into the second slot, which is labeled PCIe 3.0 ×1,
will Windows boot from the new M.2 NVMe?
Or will the system not recognize the M.2 NVMe at all?
Because in some user discussions, it was mentioned that Windows can only boot from an M.2 SATA.
The next question is: which M.2 NVMe models can be installed in the PCIe 3.0 ×1 slot of this device?
Since I noticed there isn’t much price difference between M.2 SATA and M.2 NVMe drives, I decided to go with an M.2 NVMe.
