Studio mate not being seen

Studio mate not being seen by my Mac Studio, just installed 2 new crucial 2tb m2 in it the drive are flashing green and have power but I can’t see it in the Mac drive utility.
Brand new mate and drives looking for help.

Did you try plugging in the adapter to the far right thunderbolt (4th port) and the enclosure on the right not the (power in)? Also if that doesn’t work make sure the SSD card is not 5.0 only works with 4.0 drives and below.

Same here. Mac Studio M4, mate studio with samsung 990 evo plus 2 TB : power is ok but nothing in mac drive utility. I used the adapter, and try with a power adapter on mate too.
Same mate studio attached on a mini m4 : ssd is recognized on mac drive utility.

I am have the same issue on my Mac studio M3 ultra. Mate studio is powered but not seen. I have installed 2× 4TB WD_black SN 7100. Would be nice to have a solution because I’m about to purchase a different enclosure.

Try checking if the enclosure needs formatting or a firmware update, sometimes new M.2 drives won’t appear in Disk Utility until you initialize them via Terminal or format them using APFS in another system first.
