Hi all, I recently got my GTR9 Pro and what to share my experiences and hear if others have the same experience with their GTR9’s. 1) Fan noise - biggest issue so far. After a few minutes the fan noise will be quite loud (more noisy than my Desktop with 4080, Ryzen 9700x). The noise seems constant regardless if effort e.g. just turned on and in windows or actively playing a game e.g. Diablo 4. Max CPU temp measured in windows 11 using HWMonitor says 50 ′C and current value is 32′C. Anyone else experiencing this? Any solutions? 2) Crashes - I experienced a few random crashes - where windows unexpectedly shuts down. I have not been able to determine why. 3) LAN Ports not working - it seems there is some issue with the LAN ports. I was told a new driver (yet to be released) is needed to completely fix issue. 4) Performance looks good so far - I have only tested it using Diablo 4 - which works very nice on the GRT9. Hi all, I received my unit 2 days ago and it seems to be As you know, there are 2 main fans. While the first one does a smooth fan noise, the second one does a creepy noise like a ball is missing from the fan bearing. The second fan is pretty noisy and it’s not a matter of speed. It sounds like a defect, and I assume BeeLink has to do something to address that. Do you experiment same problems?

I got my Beelink on Thursday. Great thing. Everything works perfectly. All connections and Windows work without issues. Even the BIOS update to P108 and Windows 25H2 worked. But!!! I’m also having serious problems with the fan. There’s a constant loud rattling noise. It’s very annoying. I sent a video to support on Friday. They also said that’s not normal. Initially they wanted to send me a new fan. But I think it’s better if I get a new PC. Not that I don’t trust myself to install the fan. But what if something else breaks in the process??? We’ll see what the next boss in the support team says tomorrow.

Hi there, Sorry for the trouble. ① About the fan noise, you can send the PC back for replacement ② About the Lan. Currently, the network card and the crash issue of the GTR9 395 persists, and its root cause lies in the Ethernet driver. As of now, there is no new driver available to resolve the problem of the Intel E610. The current workarounds are as follows: Perform a physical power-off and re-plug the power cable. We suggest you to to use a Wi-Fi connection instead. A complete resolution to this issue will only be possible once a new driver is released

Got a response from Beelink support. They offered 2 options: send back the unit to get it repaired send me a new fan and let me replace it myself by following a video I choosed the second option as the steps look acceptable to me. I will update the thread once the new fan is received and replaced.

I’ll also have a new fan sent to me. I watched the video. It should be possible to install it myself. I’ll also report back when it arrives and is installed.

Has anyone received a GTR9 pro without the fan issue?

Hello. I received my GTR 9 Pro recently and I also noticed the loud fan noise with some rattling sound to it, like it has some faulty ball bearings on it. I’ll get in touch with Beelink support about it.

Yeah, similar issues here as well. Noise : very loud fan noise. However, it doesn’t sound defective; it’s just extremely loud. Crashes : same issue, random crashes during normal operation. Other issues : there seem to be issues with “ghost USB devices” Customer support : sent me a “tutorial” on how to make a BIOS update. The tutorial consisted of a .docx(!) file that was totally messed up (at least when opened in Word online). After fixing the document myself and creating a usable PDF, I was able to update the BIOS. Unfortunately, it did not solve my problems. Finally, the customer service sent me a suggestion that was clearly just generated with ChatGPT. Well, thanks for nothing. very disappointed overall after spending 2K for a computer

Hello GTR9 Pro users and early adopters, I would be glad to hear some noisy fan :-| In fact the GTR9 Pro, I received two days ago, crashed with a blue screen when doing the first Windows updates. Since that, I am not able to start any Windows environment any more, neither the preinstalled version, (backed up in advance), nor any new installation. Every time, the pc stops with blue screens and stop codes like IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL What failed: ntoskrnl.exe CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION What failed: Ntfs.sys DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION(1×133) Having bios version 107 or 108 makes no difference, as well as Windows 11 24H2 or 25H2. I f you have managed to get a running system, maybe even with a fresh installation, could you please share which exact version you installed, and maybe if you did any changes compared to the ‘Optimized Defaults’ settings in the bios? Noise: very loud fan noise. However, it doesn’t sound defective; it’s just extremely loud. That’s a different issue: by default the BIOS/UEFI is set with very conservative fan(s) curve profiles which are loud. You may adjust them easily to make it more quiet and still keep the system temperatures in check. Simply go to: BIOS/UEFI > Advanced > Hardware Monitor > Smart Fan Function > CPU Smart Fan1/2 Mode To adjust both (Fan1 and Fan2) fan curve profiles. The following are the respective parameters meanings: Fan off temperature limit: The value here is the Celsius temperature for the fan to stop working. The default value is 35, which means that the fan stops spinning when the CPU temperature is below 35 degrees Celsius. Fan start temperature limit: The value here is the Celsius temperature for the fan to start working. The default value is 40, which means the fan starts spinning when the CPU temperature exceeds 40 degrees Celsius. Fan full speed temperature limit: The value here is the Celsius temperature for the fan to hit full speed. The default value is 90, which means that the fan spins at full speed when the CPU temperature exceeds 90 degrees. Fan start PWM: The Fan Start PWM refers to the speed of the CPU fan when it starts working. The default value is 70, but you can also set the value to any number between 30 and 127. PWM SLOPE SETTING: The default value for PWM SLOPE SETTING is 2PWM, which means when the temperature of the CPU rises by 1 degree, the fan speed increases by 2PWM (adding to the start speed of the CPU fan). The value of [PWM SLOPE SETTING] can be set between 2 and 4 PWM, but it requires the “Fan start PWM” to work together. @jotapesse The BIOS fan control does not seem to work. Even at 27 C the fans are at full blast.

Do you know if PWM can be enabled? lm_sensors does not recognize the fans… I am also on NixOS.

bart The GTR9 Pro BIOS/UEFI Smart Fan Control works fine here (near silent), you can also customise it and adjust the FAN PWM profile settings, see example here.

@jotapesse For me, when it wakes up from sleep, it goes full blast despite low temperatures.

bart Sure. If you have searched for it you would have found it here. It seems that the recent release of UEFI/BIOS P110 update resolves the Standby (S0) - Low Power Idle state support - waking up keeps the fan curve profile untouched.
