We recently purchased a Beelink SER5 (SN: B6800If40063 — or possibly B68001f40063; the character is hard to interpret). So far, we really like the unit. When I first set it up, Windows 11 Pro was already pre-installed at the factory waiting for a new customer to set up win 11. However, I noticed that Secure Boot is disabled in the BIOS. Why would Secure Boot be turned off from the factory if the system ships with Windows 11 Pro already set up?
Does this mean the BIOS code is not aligned with Windows 11 UEFI requirements, or is there another reason?

If a BIOS update is available for the SER5, has anyone here applied it successfully and enabled Secure Boot without issues in Win 11 Pro /home ?

For context: we use Macrium for imaging and recovery, and it restores the OS successfully, so I’m confident I can overwrite boot files if needed. Still, I want to be sure the firmware is up to date and that Secure Boot can be enabled safely.

So with the BIOS VERSION 2.22.1293 did work out with windows 11 - So far we like the SER5 mini computer
After windows 11 pro fully setup, we did a clone then went into the BIOS and turned secure boot on, then rebooted, right off it went into windows again even though I pressed DEL,
THEN I restarted it and went into the bios again with DEL and put the secure boot to standard, it said “ secure boot keys are reset ”
So not sure what that did, did windows 11 give the ser new keys ? we went to custom, then we rebooted, so I am guessing that when we choose custom, it leaves the machine open to accept a new set of keys ? its all implied here and not very documented.
I am happy to say it works. Secure boot is set to standard and is working. Thats great. So far so good with bee-link. Never trust a product that wont let you openly post things on its websites forum! Anyway. Now I have questions. I have witnessed BIOS take 20 minutes to figure out what is going on, not sure what the whole issue with some bios setups but this one was not obnoxious.
