Hello all,

I am new to this, so apologies if this has been solved. I have purchased a Ser 5 5800H and installed a KingSpec 1TB SSD into the available SSD slot under the main cover. I have formatted the SSD and it it is discoverable on Disk Management. When I go into the BIOS into the advanced tab, under SATA I can see the SSD (See pic). When I go to the boot tab there is no option to select this SSD as the primary boot option (See Pic).
Please Help?

It is recommended that you click the first boot to check whether there is an HDD option in the selection.

Could you tell me you whether there is installed inside the HDD system files?

Have a nice day!

Yes the windows is on HDD and boots up on start.

Could you tell me you whether there is installed inside the HDD system files? - What is installed in HDD files?

Kind regards,

Lee

Hello there,
could you send us a picture of save&exit page?so that we can help you better.

Hello there,
could you check if your SATA cable and board is damaged?if it is not connected well, your HDD cannot recognized.

Checked it, seems fine. I can see the SSD in Windows once it boots up. I can’t seem to find it in BIOS to use as the primary boot disk. I have Batocera on my SSD I would like to be primary boot

support7 Hi. I’ve exactly the same problem. How do you solved, please…

    CSF Hi there
Here are some possible solutions :
1.Please press delete key as soon as you restart the PC, so that you can go to BIOS. Then go to boot page, set SSD as the first option.
2.Please take out the SSD and reset it securely.

    1. Please send us pictures of both advance page and save&exit page in the BIOS ,we will check if there `s SSD recognized.
