I am attempting to upgrade my Mini S N5095 Serial# B50954LG11662 from 8 gigs of RAM to 16 gigs. I am using Crucial DDR4 2666 1.2v RAM which should work. When I added the RAM it will not POST. The power light lights up but nothing displays on the screen. I put the old RAM back in and it works. I feel like the BIOS does not like the RAM.
I am on BIOS Core Version 5.19. The RAM I am trying to upgrade to is Crucial 16GB DDR4 SDRAM Memory Module - for Notebook - 16 GB - DDR4-2666/PC4-21300 DDR4 SDRAM - CL19-1.20 V - Non-ECC - Unbuffered - 260-pin - SoDIMM (CT16G4SFS8266).
Do I need a BIOS update or is that memory is not supported? If it isn’t supported is there a list of memory that is supported?
