Uggh, I hate this change. Was just about to ask why the emmc storage is not showing up on my ME mini. I didn’t see anything about the removal of the emmc on these, so this is a surprise. Just an absolute waste of resources to use the NVME SSD for the OS in a device like this. Now I have to decide if I want to keep this, or send it back.
Seriously, I’d rather have the emmc than windows installed.
Well, screw it, either the OS boots successfully off a thumb drive, or the ME mini goes back in the box and gets returned. In this economy I can’t afford to waste an 1tb SSD as the boot drive for a server. Hell, Amazon sells the crucial SSD for more than I paid for this ME mini.
