Hello - I’ve got an SER5 MAX Ryzen 7 6800U (32GB of RAM, 1TB SSD, 1 GB ethernet) model - and I love this little guy! Slapped it on my main QLED 65″ TV and put a big external drive on it and use it for movies/shows, light gaming and as a network drive for my other devices.
However, after running into some really bad performance on a couple of Steam games - I’m having trouble getting AMD drivers and Windows 11 to properly register the Radeon 680M graphics (Windows always defaults to AMD Radeon™ Graphics as the display adapter no matter what I’ve tried - and Windows/drivers won’t honor my setting iGPU to 8GB in BIOS - it only shows 4GB).
Wondering if my older bios version is causing this? System info in screenshot, and I’ve already downloaded what appears to be the right BIOS update in the other screenshot… Or should I be looking down another avenue? Any advice here is much appreciated, thank you!
