Hey folks, just wanted to share how I’ve been using mini PCs in my daily workflow. I work in the construction field and deal a lot with digital plans, takeoffs, and cost breakdowns. A few months back, I switched to a Beelink mini PC setup and honestly, it’s been great for handling lightweight estimating software and plan reviews without needing a bulky workstation.
It’s compact, quiet, and surprisingly powerful for multitasking. I often run spreadsheets, PDF drawings, and remote estimating tools all at once with no lag. For anyone doing similar work or managing estimating services USA like me, these small devices are a solid option.
Anyone else here using mini PCs for work instead of just home media or entertainment setups? Would love to hear your experience with performance under heavy tasks.

I use compact mini PCs as full-time desktop computer replacements for all productivity/office and graphic design work or even occasional gaming for more than 10 years now. No point in keep using bulky cumbersome high power noisy desktop ATX or even Mini-ATX boxes, unless you really need the PCIe expansion slots for very specific extra hardware cards connection/use and the (slight) performance delta with the (equivalent) desktop CPUs.
