Hello, I have an AP34 (SN: EN808SIF32450)
a couple of days ago I’ve downloaded the latest bios (AP34 AB1V17_cd_AP34_20171123.zip)
the update started without problems (under Windows 10)
but then already the first part (when it starts to delete) seemed strangely slow to me
so, since the situation had seemed rather serious to me by now, I left everything running hoping that it would still come to an end and report something to me. I mean, I thought it would stay on with some wording, like “update failed,” clearly I would NOT turn it off, and as long as the operating system was working, I would at least try to repeat the operation or try other ways and options.
Instead, after many many minutes, in the meantime I had left willing to wait even hours, I realized that something had happened only because I glimpsed a glare of the screen:
now the mini pc was on but no longer gave any kind of signal (except the led on)! This is absurd! The windows tool to update the bios must NOT restart the PC arbitrarily and no matter what happens it must remain stuck on the final message! Now what can I do? There’s probably nothing more that can be done, I don’t think the product was so advanced that it was able to flash the bios on its own using a USB stick
