Hello Beelink Community,
I’m experiencing a frustrating issue with my Beelink GTR9 Pro (AMD Ryzen™ AI Max+ 395) and hoping someone can help or has encountered something similar.
System Specifications:
- Model: Beelink GTR9 Pro
- Processor: AMD Ryzen™ AI Max+ 395
- OS: Windows 11 24H2
- BIOS Version: P107 (not yet updated)
Issue Description:
- I frequently run long data processing tasks in VS Code terminal for several hours while the display is turned off by pressing the screen button (not sleep mode). Normally, when I return and open the screen, VS Code terminal displays as expected. However, intermittently, I encounter the following problem:
- The monitor shows “No Signal” (completely black screen).
- Mouse and keyboard are completely unresponsive.
- The hard shutdown button on the front panel does NOT work.
- The only way to power off is to unplug the power cable.
Event Viewer Findings:
- After forced restart, Event Viewer shows a Critical Error: Unexpected Shutdown, but there are no error logs leading up to it.
For example:
- Last record log entry: 1:20 AM (terminal activity recorded)
- Discovered frozen system: 1:40 AM
- No errors found around 12:00 PM-1:40 AM timeframe
Troubleshooting Already Attempted: Initially, I suspected the LAN and its driver might be causing the issue. I disabled it in BIOS (“Device 3 Fun 2”) and switched to using a USB-to-LAN adapter instead. However, the issue persists. Ran sfc /scannow - No integrity violations or errors found.
Questions:
- Has anyone experienced similar freezing issues on the GTR9 Pro?
- Could this be related to power management, sleep states, or display driver issues?
- Any other suggestions for diagnosing this problem?
Thank you in advance for any insights or suggestions!
