A year ago i bought this mini, and was perfect for me, now i want to upgrade ssd memory to 1T and ram up to 32 Gb. Can you recommend me the appropiate ones

The SER5MAX 6800’s memory specifications are SODIMM DDR4 3200Mhz, max 64GB (32GB per slot).The system disk is an M.2 PCIe 3.0 ×4 (2280) slot, max 2TB.

You can upgrade to 32GB RAM and a 1TB SSD.As long as it meets the specifications, there are no specific brand requirements; Intel, Samsung, Kingston, Crucial, etc., are all acceptable.

Perfect!!, AND do i need to replace the 512 Mb SSD or there Is a second slot?

My real question Is that if I replace the 512 for the 1Tb i will lose the Windows system, because i can backup all my info, but will I lose my OS?, or i have a second slot, AND there’ll be no chance of losing my OS (Windows 11).
(Yeah, you guess right, i don’t know much about it 🙃)

You can migrate system files within 512G to the 1TB SSD you want to replace. In this way, the machine will not lose Windows system data.

Hi there…,
I´ve done my upgrade as we said. Made the clone of my previous 512Gb to my new 1Tb, and install the 32 Gb in RAM.
The OS launched with fluidity, but some errors were signaled.

The problem could be caused by corrupted files, abnormal permissions, or system incompatibility after a memory/hard drive upgrade.

Press Win+R, type mdsched.exe, and run the Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool. Select “Restart now and check for problems” to rule out compatibility/faulty new memory.

If you replaced it with a new SSD, you can use cloning tools like ORICO Aluminum M.2 NVMe SSD Enclosure and the software DiskGenius.

Click DiskGenius, choose OS migration, select the target disk you want to transfer to, and then start the transfer.
